Help an EG'er with some suspension Q's
Ok I thought this would be a good place to post these questions. I have a set of H&R coilovers and an ES hyperflex kit sitting in my closet waiting to go on the civic. My H&R coilovers look exactly like this picture:

notice the bushing asembly on the top is missing.
Now I have read that when you do the poly bushing kits on a street car its wise to use the upper shock bushings from an ITR or NSX instead of the poly bushings.
Here is a link for the rear shocks
Here is a link for the front shocks
My question is could someone please point out exactly what I would need to order with the bushings? Could I oder basicly the whole top assembly so when I install my H&R coilovers they are already complete and just bolt in? Please advise, thank you.

i believe u are reffering to the top hats. if your oem springs are the same diameter as the H&R just go ahead and use those, or order some pillow ball mounts from cusco, tien, etc etc u get the pic.

My main goal here is to keep some of the bounce from poly bushings out of my street car. I know most these pillow ball mounts use poly bushings in their construction. Are these pillow ball mounts bushings as bouncy as my ES bushings? or would getting the stock ITR rubber bushings be a better way to go for what I want. Thanks for your reply

[EDIT] Upon some more research, I dont think I want pillow ball mounts. Back to my original question. Which part number will I need to order to use the ITR upper shock bushings with my original civic top hats? Thanks!

I'll try and awnser my own question please let me know if I am correct
On the rear it looks like I would need to order number 2(x4), number 17(x4) and number 12 (x2).
And in the front it looks like I need to order number 7(x4), number 8(x4). and number 11(x2).
Can someone please check my work and let me know if I am correct. Thanks!

What you need to do is re-use your stock top hats. But before you install them, go to Acura and buy a set of ITR top hat bushings (I'm not sure they'll understand what those are, so you might need to point them in the right direction). I think they are like, $8 for each and there are 8 of them.
That's all you need to do.

so on http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org that would be part number 8 for the front and 2 for the rear? 8 of those bushings and i'm set? Thanks again
