only happens when i brake when im going around 65 and up.. wont happen if i brake easily.. but if i apply alot of pressure to the pedal, steering wheel will shake.. also when i hit a speed between 60-65, i'll get a slight "shudder" in the wheel.. but it will go away when i get out of that "mph zone".. unbalanced wheels?? rotors warped?? thanx..

 

I say unbalanced wheels because if it were the rotors why would they shake when goin 60-65 mph? I'm not sure though, mine only shakes when I brake, which I'm assuming is the rotors.

Nope its an alignment problem. I had the exact same thing happen to me when I first got my prelude. Trust me its alignment, probably bad toe.

but another question.. if the alignment was off, would i have unusual wear on my tires?? i just looked at them and it seems that their wearing fine.. hmm..

 

I agree. It seems like you have both problems, or warped rotors and unbalanced wheels.

 

Are you running on aftermarket wheels? And if so, are you using hubcentric rings to correct the centerbore size? ALWAYS use hubcentric rings if your wheel bore does not match your hub bore!
