I have 2.25 custom piping from the cat-back. I have a cheap as resonator that Im soon going to replace with a magnaflow. Just to let you know, its not anywhere near as quiet as a Mugen exhaust(twin loop). So dont get that in your head. And its nowhere near as loud as a N1 exhaust.

I would say as long as you have a complete cat(not blown out ) and a resonator you'll be just fine. I have a gutted cat and also like two exhaust leak, so right now my car sounds like I have a N1 on it. But when everything is in tack, the exhaust is not bad at all.

I got pulled over by a cop oneday, he was cool and started asking me what mods I had. I slipped and told him I had a exhaust. He told me it wasnt to loud, and this was with my OG cat and shitty resonator. Best way to explain is really deep until vtec. Heres a pic(2-3 years ago). Right now its painted flat black with a Auto-Zone 5 dollar tip . Reid thought it was a ITR exhaust when he seen it
