alright, i bought an eg coupe from a junkyard and it is black but with a white trunk. i want to get it painted asap. i heard from a friend that it shouldnt be more then $50. so i know this guy around phoenix who paints and he says he wants 600 to paint the trunk black. i couldnt believe it, since i know macco paints full cars for only 500. so what do u think is a reasonable price to pay to paint a trunk. and what would u consider the limit?

$600.00 is crazy! I would say for a quality job somewhere between $150-$200.

spray paint it?

 

yea, spray paint from cans, like krylon etc

 

I painted my Accord trunk for 250 bucks, pretty steep for only a minor gouge. but body shops makes the call on it.
