Been wondering this for awhile, and just cuz I'm a trial member doesnt mean I'm full of crazy ideas and stupid thoughts. Seriously....honda makes one (no not the S2000 rear wheel drive). I'm thinking maybe, with adaptation of course, an RSX tranny could possibly bolt up with H22/H23 engine? And, IF, this was physically possible, I'm guessing it could handle 250hp? Just think of how kick A$$ 6-speed would be...I mean I get 32mpg doing 80 on the hwy now....just think if the RPM's werent @ 4000 that whole time. Comments, thoughts, and insight welcome.

no you can't hook up the rsx 6 speed tranny to the h22. **** you can't even swap trannies between the SH and base models, let alone two completely different engines. and why would it only be able to handle 250hp??? IF it were possible. a 6th gear would be nice on the other hand.

 

1. If 4x4's can run a TH350 or TH500, or various T5/6 models bolted up to a 360, 351, 454, whatever, because somebody makes an adapter kit...why not a 6-speed in a 'lude? Secondly....ok if not 250, then how about 600hp....happy? That was just a shot at HP, not actuality, didnt figure this was a biggie considering what I"ve seen done to RSX's.

Car would be pretty quick in reverse though...

 

Too many gears IMO.... 5 speeds are good enough.

 

The H22 powered Mugen Honda Accord Touring race car uses a 6-speed Sequential gearbox. The complete transmission costs $25,000.

All of it is a waste.. Just bolt a F22 tranny on the car if you want MPG...

 

Like I said...just wanted some feedback...some of you guys are way to quick to judge. Just a question...wanted some thoughts....if you want to let it die....DONT POST!!!!
