I need some help, never done a swap before and want to see someone do it so I can gain a little knowledge. I will have a JDM D15 VTEC that I will be putting into a 4g DX Hatch

-OBD1 conversion
- *(mpfi swap)

will be using the DX tranny, it's an automatic tranny... only thing I am replacing is timing belt, mounts, and water pump

I live in Jacksonville right now, the local shops around me want $800 - it just seems like a little too much, I mean - that's more than the value of the engine itself...

I can't help with the swap...but I know a shop locally that wouldn't charge more then $500 for the swap.

I put a b16 into my 96 and they only charged me $500.
