Can anyone tell me if I did this wiring right?
On the back of the block there is some sensor with male "prongs" on it, in a stacked formation. One wire is black one is yellow. I stuck the yellow wire at the top and the black at the bottom. I can't remember how they were when I first took them off so I wanted to know if this was right or not.
u know fourthgenhatch, im in the same predicament as u are right now, i took those wires off and i dont remember which one goes where
between the back of alt. and the oil filter. I believe this is the oil pressure sending unit. Anyway the black on is on top. I just checked
I had the same question a little while ago, but they were side by side on mine. I was told it doesn't matter which goes where - that sensor is for your radiator fan. They could be wrong though, here's the thread:

oldschoolhatch is completely corect. Its your rad fan switch. does not matter if the wires are reversed. When the switch heats up, it provides continuity between the two prongs. The completes the circuit and provides the ground for your rad fan.
