I don't think the GSR is the same; remember, it is a taller engine. I believe 99-00 Si will work, but most go with 94 del sol VTEC. Another thing to remember is that you need to use the timing belt that matches your water pump, which you should have replaced. I used Del Sol VTEC parts, water pump and timing belt, and they both worked.
