Default swap for my hatch

i have a 92 dx hatch. im looking to drop a new motor in it but im not sure which motor i should get. im short on cash since im in college, so a b18c and b16a or out of the question. i had 3 motors in mind, i was thinkin about just swapin in the d16z6, the jdm d15b sohc vtec, or i found a site that was sellin the obd1 dohc ZC? im not sure which motor i should get and which is the best. im proly gonna end up keepin my tranny and every motor will bolt up so thats not an issue but if u can give me some advice on what i should do? thanks a lot i appreciate it.

D16Z6 is cheap and can be made to run quick for low cost. You can get them for $500 or less and probably won't need to buy motor mounts.
