Motor Swap, 1993 Civic Hatch
Hey whats up guys, I'm wanting to do my first motor swap in a 1993 honda civic hatch DX I just bought. Its an automatic so swapping that is the first move. I need help or ideas on what motor I should choose. I'm a huge fan of the B series and/or going all out for a k20.... Opinions???

it's not that no one has an opinion on it.. it's because this question has been answered probably 3 or 4 times a day on this site... they even made a whole section for it in the faq section. check it out

one advice i can give you though is not to cheap out and buy a used motor/tranny from ebay or any other bargain places. Spend the extra cash and buy it from a reputable shop (got mine at hmotorsonline) and save yourself headaches you're most likely going to face down the road. You can get lucky and get a pretty good/strong/reliable motor but more than likely, you're going to get a pain in the *** engine if you go the cheap route and spend half the time troubleshooting idling issues, check engine lights, leaks, strange noises, etc etc etc...
