Someone selling a JDM k20 auto? Is this possible?
Whats up everyone, I saw this for sale on ebay and wanted to know what it was and differences? Ok, im guessing its a base rsx motor thats auto. He claims its "JDM" do they have a JDM auto version? And if so, is it like the bseries, with small differences. Such as, higher compression and about 10 more hp? If anyone can enlighten me id appreciate it!
Sorry guys, my bad! Here you go...

That guy is trying to pull a fast one. They dont make auto k20a Type Rs. It doesnt have a red valve cover, it has a auto tranny, thats gotta be a k20a3 that is found in the base rsx.

They do have other types of the DC5 in japan besides the DC5R( rsx-r)
Japan has a base model of the rsx over in japan as well, same power and specs as our base model rsx here. And yes they do have base auto rsx in japan.
But I would not spend any money on a jdm base auto motor of the rsx. You can pick up a base automatic rsx motor here for much less.

Exactly! Plus if you were going to buy a new motor for your car why would you pick the base RSX automatic? Ive seen k20a2 swaps ranging from 3k+

NEW DEVELOPMENTS!!! It is definetly not an SI motor. It has power steering set-up and a larger pulley. The intake manifold is black and valve cover is different. The SI valve cover says 2.0l on it. Still working to confirm which one it is, but im guessing JDM type S. Any other ideas?
My guess is still a base integra automatic. The intake manifold is different because the base rsx has a different style manifold then the k20a3 in the Si and the k20a2 in the type S.
Case closed, you are right. I went to the dealership and pop the hood to check things out. The base has a black intake manifold and the power steering set up. Thanks everyone for the help.
Plus the valve cover says "Honda". Not too sure how the base RSX's valve cover looks but the Type-S says Honda Motor Company, and I'm assuming the Type-S and the Base share the same valve cover.
