Default D-series hybrid

I'm new to the honda world, but was wondering if you could match up a D17 (2001-03?) block to a Z6/Y8 head? Yes no, what would compression be, will mounts work from a standard d-series engine bay, ECU, tranny fit...?

Thanks!

i'm not too familiar with the d17's so i really cant answer your question. sorry, but you can do a "mini-me" swap on most non-vtec d15,d16 blocks with a z6 or y8 head. you should do a search on that. or just but a d15b7 block they are cheap. even a b6 block.
