Mugen ECU on a crx
My question/problem is this:
I have a '91 CRX 1.6i-VTEC(150 HP-B16A1 with OBD0, JHMEE), and I wanted to upgrade it with a Mugen ECU (after I replace the cams and retainers). I wrote to KingMotorsports (they sell Mugen) and asked if they have an ECU for my machine, and got a reply that there's not such a thing for an old CRX.
Is that information 100% accurate or there is a way to put a Mugen ECU in my car? Maybe swap my complete computer with a comp from B16A2 and then put a Mugen ECU inside?
Can somebody help me to solve my problem, this is a stage that I'd like to complete before I decide to put a supercharger inside or not (I think I won't)

I dunno if mugen would still sell roms for OBD0 ECU's. I know alot of people are selling ''mugen spec'' roms which if the fuel/timing maps are the same its the same just minus the $$$$ mugen charges for everything. I have a mugen N1 rom in a PR3 ECU. I got it from Dave B of another forum. He chips alot or can also go with http://www.hyperducktuning.com, http://hyper.phluid.net and they sell roms and sockets to rechip yours.

you would have to convert your car to OBD1.....Either using a jumper harness or cutting your harness and resoldering all the wires in correct order....Will also need a 4 wire 02 sensor instead of you single wire one. But thats about it. I would suggest a jumper harness instead of cutting your orginal harness though. There only 150.00 from blown90hatch
