My car is owned by Honda Techs :(
Well as most of you know i broke my tranny again at the Expo , well honda has graciosly said they would warranty me a new gear box again
so the cars in thew shop now , . . . . well i get a call today saying to go down there theres a problem .
So i get there to my front end smashed in . . . the tech pulling my car into the garage foot slipped off the clutch pedal and smached my ******* car into the lift.
its taking alot from me to not hurt someone right now . Everytime my car goes there it comes back with batle scars.
last time it was egged with frozen eggs, beore that they stripped my tranny mount bolt in the tranny . . . now this .
im so irratated i could vomit

That was my sentiment exactly...I just went to my Honda dealer wondering if they would replace a syncro for me, and they told me to "get the **** out of here, we know you race that thing, it's a Type-R". Mine is stock, without the big intercooler that might tip someone off that the car is being beat on.
You destroy your syncros at EXPO doing burnouts and somehow get a new tranny out of Honda, and you're complaining...count your blessings.

Why would he do that? Read the posts, and take a look at what's been done to this car. First nitrous, now turbo, and they're giving him a whole new tranny.
Sounds like he's got it pretty good at his current dealer.

if your ITR is stock and under warranty, you need to run this up the flag pole, man. they can't treat you like that. did you go to a honda dealership or acura? will a honda dealership do warranty work on an acura?

I dont know if this is the deal hear but some honda dealers are selling like performance packages with warrenty. Like they will sell and install a turbo kit on ur honda, with warrenty. The down side is you pay a lot more then if you would buy the turbo from somewhere else.

my honda and acura dealers are owned by the same people and share the same shop...my answer...yes. but maybe only for my case.

I love how people on this forum jump at any chance to talk ****. It's not like he has to pay for the broken tranny and is complaining about it. Flamers, get a ******* life.

It's more a matter of me practically having to take the service manager out back and beat him with a hickory stick to even have them look at my car for any kind of warranty work, when other people can nitrous and boost their cars and get expensive work done without any problem that pisses me/us off. It's not talking ****, Honda just needs to have better published rules/regulations on what constitutes a warranty claim rather than leaving it up to the discretion of the dealer.
