ok guys:
1) i have a DX shell...red 88 in fair condition. interior is cool, but the rear rust is fairly bad. the body needs a makeover basically. on a scale of how bad the rust on the car is its probably a 5-7. i can either keep it, gut the interior, fund my Z6 project, prime it, sell my accord, and get a paint job and boost
OR
2) i can just part out the car or sell it and start the search all over again? =/
and if i do keep the car:
if i have an 88 DX with a Z6 motor, a OBD0-OBD1 converting harness, and OBD1 injectors, do i need to do any changes to the wiring/motor? the only problem is, the car doesnt have a motor in it, so im thinking if i get the harness, plug it in, get the Z6, plug it in, and use the OBD1 injectors id have done the MPFI swap without realizing it, do you know what i mean?
Help me out guys. i think im leaning on keeping the hatch and doing plan number 1 but im a panzy and need all my fellow car dorksters support. PICTURES will be up my request for those who are finding it hard to vote

aww common, i just put the smoke weed everyday comment for humor. i needs some serious input
keep it, gut the interior, fund your Z6 project, prime it, sell my accord, and get a paint job and boost it just like you said
For MPFI if you just solder all your resistor box related wires together that should eliminate that stuff since you don't need it for ODB-1.

you mean just skip that resistor box and soder them together? sounds good
Yeah because those DX wires are high impeadance, MPFI OBD-0s were low and that is what that box did, but OBD-1 is high and doesn't need the box. So just connecting them all should solve that problem.

I'd say it depends on your goals...
If you want a car to race, go with plan A (rust is lighter than steel)
If you want a car to show / last you for a long time, I'd say plan B. That rust is going to haunt you.
as far as the Mpfi Issues... you will need to do the wiring conversions listed in the mpfi swap articles, the firewall harness doesn't have all of the wires you need.
Plus, you will need an OBD0 - OBD1 adaptor harness for the ECU, there are several peeps on this site that make / sell them.

SUPER GREG!
I say Plan #1... let's face it, ED/EF hatches aren't that common in the no-rust variety. Ask yourself seriously if you think you could find one!
