How to remove ECU?
For a while I was freaked about having the wrong ECU, then I realized that it wasn't under the hood, but under the dash, in the
passenger side footwell, just in front of the door. Pry the bottom fastner out. Unscrew the top one and pull back the trim
from the doorjamb, all gently. Haven't gone farther than this.

It's simple. just rip back the plastic 'door jam', and the ecu is sitting there held on by four bolts at each corner. Take off the bolts, the little ecu shield, and then just unclip the ECU. HTH, -C
Its in the front corner of the passeger side floorboard... it is called a kick panel.. remove it by removing a large plasic screw at the bottom center and a small plastic pop out retainer in the top corner towards the firewall. remove it then the ECU is right behing the plasic kick panel. Not exacly sure how to remove it but unplug the wireing harnesses and probly unbolt the ECU from the car..
