If you ran with no header you would toast your exhaust valves.

Wait. First you asked if you would toast your ex valves if you ran open header (i.e., header bolted on, no cat, no exhaust).

Now you say you have no clue, you have never took the header off and ran.

DON'T take your header off and run.

 

You clearly have no idea what you are doing, so just worry about going straight down the 1/4 mile, getting a good launch and shifting properly (i.e. dont blame Honda for weak syncros).
