red cluster lights HELP
umm, i hate to break it to you, but you probably will not end up with red ever. at most you'll get a deep amber. either that, or the light will end up being very dim. i bought orange bulbs and went over them with the red sharpie and they were still amber. so i don't know what to tell you. its probably a no go on the red though.

I used Raybrig bulbs (clear), they're bright as hell!! But I dont know of any really bright colored bulbs.
Might want to try these, http://www.optauto.com/webstor...t=436
I've never seen anyone use these bulbs, might want to check around for their brightness. Good luck!

what i did was take the stock bulbs and peel that rubber blue coating off and then took some sand paper and lightly sanded to get the red sharpie to hold....what i got is more of a pink than red but i think it looks pretty good...when i can find some red bulbs then ill be in business. i have a 6 gen civic cluster so i also painted the needles red...
