I see alot of headers for sale on Ebay and was wondering if any of them were worth a crap. Some are 4-2-1 and some are 4-1. Witch is better? Also dose boring out the Throttle Body on a SI help any or would it be a waste of my time.

 

i recomend the Hedman (chikara) headers... i got he 4-2-1 2 piece.....payed 130 shipped.... really felt a difference and i can bet u 20 bucks its only like 2-3 hp diff from a 350 dollar one...

 

Where did you get it from?

 

general concensus is that the 4-1 is a drag racing application..top end

and the 4-2-1 is a bottom end to midrange header..

 

i also have the chikara torque step!!! very nice

 

i have an ebay header - i think that it was obx or ss autochrome or something. i noticed an immediate difference, good gains in the mid & high, no low end loss as far as i can tell. it was worth $130. i would be ineterested in getting a nicer header & doing a dyno run on both to see what differences there are
