anyone know if any of the b series ac compressors will fit on the b16 (1st gen) block w/out the use of a bracket like the hasport? or should i just get a crx compressor and get that bracket...

 

i think the only way it would work is to get the hasport bracket and somehow customize one

 

that hasport bracket is made to fit the d series compressor to the b series block. my qeustion is whether or not you can take a ls, gsr, b16 etc compressor and throw it on a 1st gen

yeah i wonder if one can use the b16a compressor with a crx ac system

 

if you use any b series bracket youll be able to line up 2 holes only...granted thatll be sufficient.....but it also places the a/c compressor very low and youll end up having to cut about half of the crossmember off just to make it fit(not reccomended)

If youre thinking about using the B series compressor....the lines are different too and put the compressor just as low
