2.5" Test pipe vs. 2.5" hi-flo cat, my complaints on performance
I have a 95 GSR with a lot of N/A mods, high compression, cams etc.
I drove the car with the test pipe, and low end and midrange seems to be a lot weaker, but with the cat in place, I feel like I got more low-end and midrange, plus VTEC always pulls strong. With the test pipe, it feels real strong only after 6K RPM's.
Overall for max WHP I should be using the test pipe, but how often do I go above 6K?
Maybe I should put the hi-flo cat back on for street use, and use the test pipe for the track. Maybe I need higher compression, like 12.2-12.5:1
