boosted H22 ignition/fmu
Got a H22a1 with stock internals, skunk cam gears, unothodox underdrive pully, vortec fmu and its boosted(about 7 psi)
just wondering about what setup some other 4orcefed H22's recommed when it comes to ignition (eg. MSD or stock) and Layout(eg. fmu with 2 additional injectors, HONDATA with inj. stock, standalone)
Wnat to be able to upgrade later on with pistons and rods and be able to use what i intially have

personally i like crane. I have the hi-6trc unit for sale with ps92 race coil if you are interested, all you will need is the gm 3 bar map sensor to run this on your application. Let me know if you are interested.
As far as fueling comes into play, im not a fan of the FMU since they sometimes lead to hot spots on your pistons since the injectors will not have a very distributed spray. As far as additional injectors, i believe that is bullshit as well (unless you are running the 8 injector method via 2 fuel rails with a standalone). 2 injectors in your intake (before throttle body) will not yield an equally distributed spray of fuel to each runner and can also lead to puddeling in your intake manifold. Your best bet is a standalone (hondata is my personal choice, dont argue with me about if its a standalone or not though). Depending on how much power you are looking to put out determines what size injector you should run.

I run a MSD6AL in my h22 along with a crane PS92 coil and a product called Direct hits. With the addition of the Direct hit ignition my e.t's dropped by .2 and went up 3mph, as soon as i removed the direct hits i lost the .2 and mph. That really supprised me. Check them out at http://www.directhits.com
well i am using a standalone system called SDS this company is in canada (Racetech) http://www.sds-efi.com
i am running 15psi right now
