i was thinking of getting an ecu off of ebay, wasnt shure though, i was thinking of getting a spoon chipped obd1 p30 he says it the best program you can get, is this true? i heard the xs engineering one is pretty good? wasnt shure either to get a p30 or p28 i have a skunk 2 intake manifold.
I think getting anything off ebay is a risk not worth taking, Unless the guys have like 6000 feedbacks and they are all good. try to find something local you can pick up is my best suggestion if you shop on ebay.
i dont know, it seem like if the commincation is good and you get a feel of what they are saying, i would go head and order it. Won't heard to check their feedback though.
Like everyone else has mentioned, a high feedback rating is imperative. But, just to cover your own @$$ why not insure it for the amount it would cost to buy a new one. that way you're covered no matter what, if it works cool, if not, file a claim with the shipping company and wait for your check!!!
Generally with good feedback its like going to a parts store. Except when they mess up on ebay you got to send it back and wait for the replacement part
Just look up Kenji in members list he will treat you right. Stays in touch either by telephone or email and does a great job.
