[edit] more info - I have not registered, but did get the flyer. Are we going to register as itr-nc and park together or as part of itrca? Also, remember to coordinate single drivers with passengers - Cliff and I saved a pile of cash last year splitting my two tickets for showing the car. [/edit]

Ok..here are my thoughts! If you ITR-NC boys remember from last year, all clubs have to send their entries in together. We can't just send them individually because they give us parking based upon the size of your club. I didn't get a flyer (figures!) so can someone tell me the entry deadline. We need to set our own deadline and have one person be responsible for collecting and sending them to NOPI. We can use the ITR-NC name since we seem fairly organized or we can ask Brett if we can use the ITRCA name as our club.

I don't remember where we stayed last year, but I can ask Leah. It was a lil' drive from the Speedway, but seemed to be a bit more secure compared to the hotels near there. I can look into getting a discount for multiple rooms like I did for Deal's. We just need to figure out how many people we need first as they like for you get 5+ rooms.

 

Chris - Give me a call tonight. I have the flyer at home. We'll start planning as itr-nc, then roll it into a itrca thing if Brett wants to go that route. Needless to say, we'll have many more R's than last year!

 

Well, I'm a local guy, but RatedR, ILOVERACING and friends will be there, so if you need any information as far as hotels or what not please feel free to ask...Eric

personally I thought the hotel we had last year was a little too far from the speedway - but I am game for whatever. am considering being a passenger this year.......anyone want a co-pilot if I decide to leave my toy at home?

I'll be there with other locals as well. Try to get a Hotel that is in Griffin, GA. It's like 5-10 minutes away. The other hotels are too far from the track and traffic is a biotch if you get up late.

am considering it. there are pros an cons to driving and my car got to visit last year. in a way I'd really like to ride an be able to take pics on the highway hanging out the passenger side window

not sure yet what I'll do, but it also depends on who[if anyone] might possibly want a rider
