Sure I do... for example, buying the first civic that I found, and not inspecting the body enough for shoddy bodywork! I also regret not changing the oilpan gasket when it was out of the car.

I bought a "94' civic Si D16z6 head" off ebay and it was when mini-me were brand new and vtec heads were going for $200. So I did the "buy it now" for $225 shipped. The head was supposed to have new valve seals etc.

I got it and I was happy. 3 months later, I reallized my spare A6 head had bigger valves !!! I got some pics of the REAL Z6 head and it looked A LOT BETTER. Turns out the dude sold me a civic VE head ( the 90ish hp vtec motor ) and told me it was a 94' Si head.

I couldn't stick someone else the same way he hammered me, so its still sitting in my garage... I figured the compression on my D15b2 and it was like 12.5/1 I think..

BTW, Im curious why you'd rather go turbo ZC instead of B16. I think you're officially the first human being ever to say that.. ppl are always tellin me I shoulda gone B16 but I went ZC and am peicing together a turbo kit now.

What do I regret? ... Reading the Hybrid Honda website and letting it convince me that the GSR was a bad swap for my CRX Si due to clearance issues, and deciding to get a B16A instead because "Hey, it's only 20hp less". I had the money for either, but went for the B16A... that's what I get for buying an engine before I knew what I was getting into. Anyone have a GSR block they want to sell me?

Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my money now that I'm employed... gotta move out soon, can't put more into the car at this point

What else... augh, there's too much. Mostly regrets for racing someone; it's too hypocritical for me to be speeding on the streets...

I regret buying damn z3 fenders .they were cheaper than new oem fenders and they were in stock. I should have got used ones from a wrecking yard and filled the dings in myself. I dont regret getting in the wreck so much since I replaced a new full core support and the whole works up front. good learning experience. Im also stumped on going ZC or B series... I got a spare STD manifold hmm zc turbo...maybe we will see

I regret driving when I was pissed off, when led me to go 80 through a residential neighborhood and total my Accord via mailbox. I regret buying the first 1st gen Integra that I saw because I wanted one, without paying attention to the 6 inch scorch marks on the dipstick, or the fact that it had been in an accident, and without checking that the odometer had been changed.

The 1st motor i had was a auto B16a and it sucked ***. Other regret is buying my EF. That's why i'm trying to sell it as we speak but nobody really wants to buy an old car. Everybody is looking for eg's and ek's.

Well, I just recently swapped in my B16 and I love it. I'd like more torque but this thing is like a torque monster compared to my old DX D15. The gearing really makes up for the lack of torque IMO.

I regret building a 98 SSblue fully built bottem-end(donovan sleeves, swain coated srp pistons and eagle rods and str blockgard) brand new turbo, wastegate manifold and down pipe also greddy egt(playback) autometer fuel pressure, oil, boost, s-afc, 440 inj.

Trading all that in on a Z71 tahoe getting 9,000 for the car and breaking up with girlfriend and her getting the Tahoe being left with ****!

and starting over from scratch with my rex and a new girlfriend........and everything in my name with my credit ........talk about regrets?
