Default extreme or heavy duty act pressure plate?

i plan on going with either teh act extreme or heavy duty pressure plate wit teh stock disk. i was reading on act's website teh extreme is 100% stronger then teh stock and teh heavy duty is 55% stronger. which one would suit my needs? all i plan on pushing teh most is 185 whp.

also can i use my stock disc???

i was doing some more reading....what is teh difference between the stock disk with street lining compared to teh stock disk with hybrid lining??

wen i was at teh track last saturday....my clutch didnt grab that well, im guessing i might need a new clutch soon.

I'd just go with the HD plate and SS Organic disc

I have the six puc with the extreme PP.

Once you get used to the on/off clutch engagement, I really wouldn't want anything else.

I just had the HD plate w/a hybrid disk and Fidanza flywheel installed (guess I'm still breaking it in),
but the pedal pressure is so light I'm sure I could easily have gone with the Extreme pressure plate.

What are your goals for the car? Unless you're gonn go FI with a monster hp setup, stick with the HD PP and SS disc. It works very well and is very streetable.

I prefer the extreme pressure plate. I like the heavier pedal feel and the way it engages.

By the way, Jon's setup is a 6-puck...not a 3.

I had the ACT Heavy Duty in my Prelude and it was perfect for a combination street / track car. It was still easy to feather, not too heavy, and bit really well. Unless you drag a lot, I can't imagine needing anything more.
