80 MPH is a decent time. I just took my civic out for the first time (B20Z) and ran 73 mph in the 1/8th. My car need to be tuned for the B20. WHat really sucked was my 60' times....2.51 at best..yuck.
Heh, know what you mean, 2.5-2.6 60' with 72mph trap speed and a 10.02 et. 1/8th mile.
Stock ZC on street tires. It's an autocrosser, so NO, I'm not tweaking it for drag.

Well I learned a simple rule for an old speed shop guy in Florida. "Keep adding power until you can brake the tires loose in a passing gear." Words of gold from the wise and old.

My speedo registers 85mph in the 1/8th at the track but the trap speed is 80mph. Testing on the street is not accurate and the track gives you a average speed going through the traps, not a top speed at the end of the 1/8th. So basicly go to the track and you'll find your more than likely trapping 74-75 mph and running mid 9's.
