Default Keyless entry on 5th gen civic? Did search

I did a search and couldn't find out the problem that I'm having. I'm not near the car right now, but before I had an alarm installed. At the time I didn't have my door panels on and most of my interior was pulled, thinking it would make it easier for the installer. Well my alarm worked for for awhile, but when I first had it installed the keyless didn't work( one of the main reasons why I had the alarm installed was for the keyless) but the guy said once you hook up your door panels it will be fine, and at the time I was in a rush so I didn't think anything of it. Then the next day I put them on, and it doesn't work and I realized, what would the door panels matter since it has nothing to do with it.

I then go back a month later(I had been very busy and they are about 30-40mins away) and I go there and the guy tells me there is something wrong with my locks. Also this guy has the same exact civic as I do and has an alarm on it but can't remember if he had keyless now. So then I match it up with one of my dad's friends complete 93 stock ex coupe that he bought brand new and the locks were the exact same way.

Then the next time I went they gave me some more BS about it. It has been like this for almost 2 years. I just dont have all the time to lose my car for that long and I don't want to deal with their BS. Also now my lights don't flash when I arm/disarm it.

Can anyone help me out on this? It is a DEI viper alarm.

definatly sounds like a problem w/ the alarm or the install.. was it a reputable shop? maybe he wired the door locks as positive trigger or something weird.. if they dont know how to work on a freakin civic i would never take my car to them.. its easy as hell.. go bitch more..

Sad part is... it was circuit city. And I know other people who have gotten work there and it awys has been fine. But it did kind aseem like the guy ddn't know what he was doing since I saw him asking another installer there questions like every 5 minnutes and I had to wait for 5 hours +. He did add some screws I was missing for some of my small panels so I know he wasn't trying to do a bad job.
