CTR pistons are the best bang for the buck.... but the most you would want for a camshaft is ITR/CTR, Toda A, Spoon, Skunk2 1's, Jun 1's, or anything in that comparison. You need to be able to have some play with cam timing, and not worry about piston to valve clearance.... you need to also consider the higher your rpm the less clearance you get. .040"-.030" piston to valve clearance is a minimum with non forged internals... I have heard of .030" not clearing at 10k rpm... so be carefull... if you want to make sure "clay" your valve reliefs on the pistons?

the CTR and ITR cams are identical. but the CTR cams had a tiny bit more aggressive intake side. the 00-01 (i think) ITR's are identical to the CTR cams. i owuld get the valve springs and retainers with them, that way you could have a higher rev limit. get CTR pistons wtih CTR cams

You do want decent compression to use with the CTR cams, but you'll notice a difference in performance even with stock compression. 11:1 is nice w/CTR cams, but it also has a lot to do with your other mods, your intentions (road race, drag, street, etc), and your tuner.

yes it will run better..(than stock) man... you seem sorta lost on the info bro.
any cam upgrade will yeild better hp results! but when you install the high lift and duriation cams (jun3,toda,skunk2 stage2, ect) the higher compression the more power you can extract from the cams.
Just remember all those cams i listed love high compression motors that's how they were designed! BTW 10:1cr is not high anything 12:5 and up is called high compression
