I'm thinking about making a hybrid civic for a weekend race car. I was thinking about a 1992 hatchback with either a gsr or type-r engine and transmition in it.

Any ruff guess how much something like this would cost?

A GSR motor trans ecu etc should run you around 3500-4+gs, a type r setup at Ive seen 5500-6000+ for everything. Do you have the hatch already? A friend of mine got a gsr swap into his 94 Civic Coupe for 5gs installed, if that gives you any idea..I found a 92 Hatch in the paper that was in great condition inside and had a straight body but blown motor for $500, too bad I put off going to get it til the next week it was sold, I missed out..
