Alright, I hate to seem like a whiney bitch but ive got to vent. This is not to be taken personally by the Mods but this is bullshit!!! A couple days ago I made a post about the Wings West rear lip for the 98+ Integra and how I got it to stay on without gaps and whatnot. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=48494 I dont know how many times I have seen somebody post in this section about how they are pissed cause their lip wont stay on, or asking how to get it to stay on, or if other people are having the same problem with theirs. So I finally get tha solution and post it here and what happens???? They move tha **** to the damn "Appearance" section. I mean honestly who in tha hell goes in there? This topic wasnt just some bullshit topic, I felt it would be of great help to many, thats why I took the time to post it. If youre gonna move my post about that to "Appearance" then how about movin all the topics about "what color of rims should i buy?" to that damn area also? Sorry to seem so bitchy guys, but I seriously thought this topic would help alot of people and dont feel it can when its been relocated to the ghosttown of the "Appearance" section. this post is pointless and u have no reason behind u... there is differant forums on this board for differant reasons!!! where u click "integra" to get in this forum... it says right after it "Discuss Integra basics or hardcore peformance"... and that is what will be in here... the appearance forum says "Appearance related discussion. Off topic and non-technical appearance questions will be moved here." iv been cleaning it up here and its taking time

a question about alip is not a tech question... it is more an appearance question... from now on... if you are having problems with your lip... u go to the appearance forum

 

I think you (4dr ) need to chill out a little. You must be on some kind of personal mission lately ocking threads and moving them. I though his post was good one to help people with their cars. Yeah its not motor related but it is still technical. If its to "below" you than just ignore it and it will pass quickly but chill the funk out.

 

hahah 4dr, you take this board way to seriously. i see it as were all in here to talk about our tegs and ask questions. and you must admit, that nobody looks in the "apperance" section. so what good is it in there? and who cares if its not "motor" related.. its still a question, and it is tech. I just had to reply cause it makes me mad, and makes me laugh at the same time how people get so pissed about stupid things.. thank ******* god someone posted this today!! i almost did this morning! there is a certain mod here that goes WWAAAAAAYYY too far with locking threads. this is probably the reason why i dont come to this board often because of mods with "napoleans complex"! chill out bro! reason people post non integ stuff on here cause no one visits the other forums. and if they did ....so what?! if ya see a post u dont like on here....dont read it

I agree with you on this one Impot Tunr. People would not go to the Appearance board looking for an anwser to this they may not even look for an anwser at all, they may just happen to come across it, and it helps them. Even my 98+ Front end conversion was moved there( I dont really mind however) , its not like we have so many posts on the integra board that it cant handle it. I mean maybe we SHOULD use the other boards, but its not going to happen anytime soon, becasue people want to post where the most people will read it who MAY have a simmilar situation, I mean I cant remeber one time going to another section and getting a response, when I can just go to the integra section and get a response very quick, I dont think that the posting has got out of hand......yet.

yes, I also like how this board is mostly "tech" It hasent gotten out of hand...yet, and I hope it does not.

 

Look man, I totally understand what youre saying about using the appropriate forums for what you are asking, however as I said, this was related souly to the Integra, and I only posted this because I have seen so many Integra owners ask and post about this situation. I mean c'mon, I gave detailed instructions on how to get the lip to stop falling off. Did you even read the post or just move it because of the post title? I mean its obvious that there are some people that feel this is not an appropriate topic but there are also other people that feel it is helpful and are glad it was posted. I think people need to understand that just because they dont find something informative doesnt mean its not useful for somebody else. Remember guys, this is a site for eveybody to recieve help on their cars, not everybody is as advanced as others, some are into different styles and preferences than others. We all need to respect each other even if we dont agree, the idea here is for everybody to recieve help. I dont remeber who said it but they are correct, if you dont like the topic go to the next one, if its a stupid topic it will make its way down the list. Anyways, for those who had my back and spoke up I thank you, Im glad to see somebody felt the topic was helpful. Cant we all just get along???

you know, if every "integra appearance" thread is moved to "appearance"...then why aren't all the "integra tech" questiosn moved to "tech"???

i know if was to ask an integra appearance question, i would like a response from people who have taste/experience dealign with integra appearance. just like i would want my b18c1 questions answered fom gsr owners...not just from the "tech" forum.

if this is the game that is going to played, then honda-tech should be organized like this:

INTEGRA

~tech
~etc.

CIVIC

~suspension

~tech
~etc

ACCORD

~etc
~etc

i mean, why have forums broken down into make/model...if stuff is getting moved? according to all this moving stuff....there should be no make/model forum...instead they should be broken down into category of question!

couldnt agree with you more there guy..........this setup is very similar to the more mature boards such as the rx7 forums which i dream that we can be like one day. we all need to work together to get the fourms to be in that manor. but in return the moderatiors need to be really strict....such as if an appercance mod is posted in the tech section then it needs to be moved/removed

This format would work in my case as well, since I usually only have time to look at the new posts in one forum, it would be nice to be finding all topics pertaining to my car, rather than having to sift through posts for the other cars.
When I first started checking this board out a few months back, that's what I thought this forum was about, Integra posts, and cross-vehicle posts belonged on the "Appearance" or "Tech" forums.

 

Ha Ha Ha... I have gone to the appearance section maybe 2 or 3 times... The westwings post was appearance related, but if I had one, I would've only seen it if it were in tech....

 

I agree reorganize this board. On another note is this thread "Integra Tech related" I didnt think so
