should i turbo my h23?
my 93 Si has 115000 miles on it and im thinking of either adding a turbo on it as well as engine work for the turbo or just swap with a h22a. would my motor be able to handle a turbo with about 6-8 psi? i want to be able to run at least in the low to mid 14's. which would be a better route? or are there any other ways to make my h23a run faster without nitrous?

aem cold air intake, greddy header, hi-flow cat or test pipe, apexi n1 exhaust, and finish it off with a vafc and some dyno tuning.
that should get you into the mid-low 14 range. good luck

Not on an h23. besides why get a VAFC on a motor without VTEC? just get the safc for the h23, but really modding that motor isnt enough. your not gonna hit low 14s with it. swap in a jdm h22 or turbo the h23 but be ready to rebuild it if you go turbo.

Id says low to flat 15's in street trim.. people have reported getting 15.5's in si ludes in stock for so jugding by the mods it may seem about just to get those times..
I could get in the 14's with aem cold air , dc sports 4-2-1 header , powercore exh. , holley adjustable fpr , and a couple of free mods . 93 prelude si {h23} with 150k on it . since then I put in a stage 1 clutch and lightened flywheel and the turbo is going in this weekend . the cold air and header will be up for sale after , if intrested otherwise it will be on ebay.
