Hydraulic clutch line help for H22 EG swap!! ASAP!!!!!!
The hydro clutch line on the h22 is similar to a fuel line. What do I need to do to convert this to work w/the civic lines??
go to your local parts store and find some brake line. Then remove that little fitting and run the line from your civic (using a coupler) to the slave cylinder directly.
If you've got the kind of clutch line (on the h22), where it's got a valve, and then a banjo fitting at the end of the stock rubber line.....take off that whole valve. Then run your stock Civic rubber to where the valve used to go. Works like a charm.
Basically you do this. Take the clutch line loose from the slave cylinder on the stock civic tranny. Stick it to the side of the engine bay. Now when the H22 is mounted in the civic take the line and attach it to the H22 trany slave cylinder. You might have to bend it a little to make it look nice put it has plenty of length on it and fits nice. Dont worry about any of the soft line **** on the H22 trans. Take it all off all the way to the slave cylinder. Hope that helps.
