FIT OR IAC valve or both ??? EK w/ JDM B16, help
A freshly swapped motor (JDM B16) and also an auto to stick conversion on the EK hatch. Running the OBDI ecu, got past some wiring problems and the car starts and runs, but here's the dilly:
The car idles up and down and from time to time, threatens to (or just does) shut off. (I suspect a bad/old FIT or IAC)
With the motor warmed up, if I put my finger on the FIT valve hole in the T/B, I can still feel some suction (I shouldn't, right ?!).
Another problem is that on occassion, when I rev the motor to 3K or so, the engine will sometimes lose a tremendous amount of power and sound like it's choking ! (IAC ?)
PLEASE help... engine running like crapolla !
