Default check my new 3" exhaust setup!

hey we just finished the exhaust this morning and it turned out ok. The car is very loud inside, but drving its just about as quiet as the 2.5" setup i had previously.
This thing was the low budget version of a full 3"

the pic didnt come out but we hacked the drag downpipe and placed a 2.5 to 3" flare and 2 new bungs one for stock o2 and other for the wideband, i also finally had the egt bung welded on the first bend of the down pipe of the 5bolt flange

here are some pics. total parts were about $80

the "muffler" is just a dynomax 16.5" long 3"in and out with a short turndown on outlet side.

Nice
I was planning on getting one of those bullet mufflers to run as a resonator

Looks good. I'm curious as to what it sounds like too. You should leave the stock exhaust canister on the hangers

Don't bother...I can barely notice the difference since I added one and that is probably just mental.

I used one of them as a resonator and it made a huge difference when I was NA. Took out the raspiness and quited down the exhaust a lot.

i would also like to know about the noise, is it louder than running open downpipe? what about the fumes, does it find its way in the cabin?

yeah guys its pretty loud inside the cabin. especially now that ive scraped all the tar out from the floors and i have no rear interior. But i had a freiend drive my car be and i stood on the driveway. It doesnt sound much louder than my 2.5 but you car hear the turbo spool up and down. I love it!
