ur gay.
ur gay.
hey guy.
First go to your near-by performance shop and buy a Crankcase breather filter (10bucks?) and then take the stock tubing that goes to your valve cover (the crank case breather outlet) and put the little crankcase breather filter on. thats it.
about the filter, i guess if you don't want to be made fun of buy these PAB's here on H-T, use the lower filter...I still think the filter on top looks funny (in a sort of good way!) haha. they're both probably crappy quality filters, so its all looks from then on..hope this helps

Or buy a catch can or goto Home depot and pick up some 3/8 rubber tubing and put it on ur motor.

i must have worded the peoblem im having wrong, i have a tube that goes from the intake to the valve cover. the problem i am having is the stock steel tube that goes inside the eom intake tube is welded to the tube that has coolant that goes to the throtle boddy and i dont want to cut it off i am looking for a cleaner solution.

Oh, OK, I think I know what you're talking about. I did just cut it off, then trimmed it up so that it just served as a fitting of sorts between the two hoses that take fluid to the TB. If you're a little artsy about it, you'll never even see it. Then just run a hose from the intake to the valve cover for the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (some prefer to just put a little breather filter on there but I personally cannot notice a difference & don't like occasionally getting oil all over my engine bay).
I can only see a pic of the top filter, but if I were you I would just get a K&N. It's a proven good quality filter, and there's no sense in taking a chance of sucking in some crap due to a cheap filter. Just my $0.02 worth.

Hello, I know exactly what your talking about. Just go down to your nearreast auto supply store and replace that steel tube with a piece or black flexable radiator hose.

NO, don't do that. Not good for your car. High-RPM cars need proper vaccume for the valve cover breather. I didn't believe it for myself until I tried it. I had one of those goofy valve cover filters on my car, then my buddy told me its not good for it. So i bought a plastic T-fitting and hooked it up correctly.... car ran so much better.
Just some advice.
