Any tips on painting black stuff on the rex?
Most of the black trim is faded on my car and I want to repaint it. Stuff like rear view mirrors little peices of trim ect. Should i sand it w/a 200 gt. and paper and then let them shoot it? Im going to have a heavy car paint put on it, not spray paint.

I think at Pep Boys they have this stuff that you can paint vinyl trim with. Make sure that it is really dry before you put it back onto the car or it will chip.

i am doing the same thing, i have already done some of the trim and it works really good.
first i got this stuff from a paint store, it is a spray can of "plastic prep" then a can of "black bumper coat" both by the same brand name. then scuff up the plastic with a 3m pad. clean it with the plastic prep, let it dry, then paint lightly with a few sweeping coats. it looks as good as new.
