'97 Civic w/ ITR 5 lug conversion: What alignment settings should I use?
I am getting my 5 lug conversion installed tomorrow on my '97 Civic. With it, I am also getting Mugen Lowdowns, which lowers the car less than an inch. I am also getting an alignment job while I'm at it. The installer says that I should get it aligned with a little negative camber since my car will be a little lower and the suspension would be stiffer. I thought you get alignment jobs to correct negative camber caused by lowering. Do you guys think that I should go by factory specs or should I go with some negative camber? I don't want my tires to wear out constantly.
Is the factory camber and toe the same for all 96-00 Civics? Please post the factory settings.
Also, since I am getting an ITR 5 lug conversion, should I use ITR camber, caster, and toe settings or should I use Civic camber, caster, and toe settings? What are the factory settings for an ITR? How about for a CTR?
Since my 5 lug conversion came from an ITR track car, the guy says that the knuckles are bent to track camber specs and should be bent back to specs that are better suited for the road. Is bending the knuckle the common way to adjust camber? Or is it a bad thing that I have bought front knuckles from a track car?
Your help is greatly appreciated since I am getting everything installed tomorrow. Thanks!

and you suspect the type R owners would know because.....
getting a 5 lug conversion does not imply you have a type R.

Eric - you would probably get a better answer from the hybrid board or EG/EK boards.
Or, IM fowler. He should know.
