Default LoveFAB Sol no more.

They are big, sorry.

The car is toast i think. The roof popped itself out. The rooflines are off by at least an inch when everything is snapped shut. The strut tower bar is arched about 6 inches. The pass front wheel is pinned against the inner well, along with the axle ripped out of the tranny.
The intercooler was in the middle of the road, but somehow got out with just some banged-in end-tank tubes.
The manifold survived a pretty good whack from the radiator, and this specific manifold didnt have my usual braces.
My girlfriend and I are distraught as hell. It ruined our summer, because now we have to re-build the car.
she wants to buy it back if its totalled(which I know it is), and try to fix it. Does this damage look salvageable?
What I planned on doing was tubing the front of the car, but Im worried about the rest of it....
anybody have a sol shell they want to sell me?

thanx. some idiot pulled out in front of us while we were going around 60 mph. We just installed the harnesses last month, its a good thing we did.
Sucks man, the manifold was on there maybe 36 hours, and this happens. SOB!

That really sucks a bag of nuts! You should be able to fix the car. Find the best local body shop and they will be able to fix it. If you want to tube it, now is your chance. It is not going to be a cheap job because that was a hard hit, so I hope it wasnt your fault. I worked in a body shop before I left for school and saw an entire front end replaced up to the back door on a civic sedan. I was in a head on and twisted the frame up to the firewall and shes still kickin. Glad you two are ok and were actually using the harness I am going to email you.

hey Cody I am real sorry to hear it man. I was in your shoes about 4 years ago. Totalled my integra, bought it back from the insurance company, and had a reputable body shop fix it. Then I was able to put a one piece fiberglass front (much cheaper than a new hood, fenders, front clip, etc). Good luck and I hope everything works ok for you.

Paul should have shipped the turbo so you will be getting it next week sometime

I would say the car is worth 5 grand. all of the pinch welds on the passenger side are popped. So I am 99 % sure that it will be totalled.
Oh another lovely surprise. Her mother switched insurance companies over the winter, and she may have placed the SOL under PLPD. Her mom is out of town, so we will see when she gets back how royally fucked we are...
either way, the new project will go underway, even if it means Jen skips a semester of college...
