I'm 110lbs, can i ride a bike?
I'm skinny, im 110lbs, and i want a bike. I would HAUL *** on a bike(thats what everyone says), but ive only ridden a honda 50(little kid dirt bike). Any suggestions?
I've sat on a 2002 CBR 954 RR and i was tip toed and had to lean to get the handle bars.

if you've never ridden before you might be better off with a smaller bike i.e. ninja 250 or 500 -- those bikes will still move out
the 600 sportbike with the lowest seat height is probably a kawasaki zx-6(e) and is also very forgiving
suzuki sv650 is also another recommended starter, very forgiving although i'm unsure of how tall the seat is.
if you are set on a bike that you won't be able to flat foot, tip toe isn't bad but if you shift your *** to one side you can flat foot one side of the bike and still keep it very stable at stops. in fact the MSF (motorcycle safety course) teaches you to only use your left leg to balance the bike, right foot on the brake at stops. good luck!

Im 120lbs, 167cm. I can ride basically any bike, so id suppose you can too. Ive ridden anything from a CBR400RR, CB400SF, NSR250R, KSR50 (basically anything from very small to quite big).
I would not buy anything larger than a 500cc for a first bike if i were you. (i recommend people to get 250cc or smaller

Yes you can ride a bike, weight has nothing to do with it, conditioning would help though as sportbikes can be demanding.
I would say get a 600 and ride that for a few years, if you get the 954, you are going to have more bike than you need or are experienced for

What are you asking? At 110 lbs you'd have at least 50lbs on the next guy. I wish I could drop 50lbs for raceday. I'd take a good long look at an fzr400 or the like. Btw, at 5'8" you should be fine inseam wise.
I am 5'7'', 109 lbs, i've got a 2001 F4i, I had to lower it about a half inch in the rear so that i could comfortably stand flat footed over it, I think that you would be fine to ride a bike, I know F3s are a little smaller too so you could easily ride one of those if your height concerns you. Just remeber with any bike you get, use your head and take it easy, you should be fine. Also a mtorcycle safety course is a good idea.

I've seen people with a lowered ex250 and ex500 that are about your height.

Good advice, another alternative to lowering the bike, which may mess with the handling of the bike, is to get the seat shaved. I am only 5'6 and I fit my bike just fine, although I will be getting my seat shaved. Oh yeah I believe the seat height of the SV650S is about 31.5.

No, you know what?? You cant ride a bike. Not at all. You know why?? Cause there is this rule that you have to be a certain height/ weight/ size/ and race to ride a bike. So dont get one cause you dont weigh enough.
Sorry, but i dont know what kind of question that is. You can do whatever the **** you want to....

I am weight 110, 5'5" and I ride a F4, and I am a chick. If I can do it you certainly can. I ahve seen even skinnier girls than me ride. It's alot of work though. They weight alot if you are not moving. The power is scary for me, you sure have to grip that bike tight.
I would recommend going to motorcycle school. It's free in most states. I paid $175.00 because I was impatient and I wanted to ride right away. I was worth every penny though. I really learned alot and it helps you prepare for all those crazy things you are going to meet on the road. You get a reduction on your insurance and they usually offer you your licsense if you pass the class.

i'm 5,4 i weigh about 125-135 my first bike was an R1, just take it easy! the only reason why i got this bike was that, everyone told me that i could not do it. if you got *****, then you might get sick of an 600cc bike in about 3-5 weeks, other wise go with an 750 suzuki, that should do you good, for awhile.
short guys, don't be discourage. my friend jay is probably about 5'1" and he races for the Yamaha factory team, and he seems to do pretty well! in daytona, he fell and hurt his hand the previous friday, so he missed qualifying. he had to start in 35th, and still finished in 8th! that's because the first 7 were all in a draft way ahead. And that was in the 750 superstock class! yamaha doesn't make a 750, so he rode a 600, stroked to 636, and still did that well!
the funniest part is he doesn't even have a bike license. He has a huge track behind his house, but knows that people are crazy on the streets!
and i'm taking my MSF course the weekend of the 9-11 of may, next weekend! you get an insurance reduction, plus in new york state you automatically get your bike license when you complete the course. with how dangerous it is, I wouldn't want to start any other way
