Default is there a way to use the automatic d16y8 intake manifold and TB?

was there a way to use the automatic d16y8 intake manifold and TB on a d16a6? i remember seeing a thread about it but i cant find it.

the eacv is on the TB and has 3 wires...vs the manual tranny version with the 2 wire eacv on the back of the manifold. i thought that you just had to ground one of the eacv wires but am not sure. thanks for the help.

I am doing exactly that this weekend (no more putting it off) and will be writing a how-to. It involves some drilling and tapping, but if that doesn't bother you, keep looking. It will probably be in the D-Series information post and mirrored on my website currently under construction. Keep you pants on.

yep drill and tap so that it can accept a IACV from a 92+ civic/integra or anything that uses the small bolt pattern....that why I always suggest the A/T even if its a little higher $$$ you've got it ready to go and don't have to look or buy another IACV, IMO
