Bandpass boxes always sound like ***!!. They are only tuned to one frequency and are very limited on sound. But are very loud in the one frequency. The best sounding boxes are the simplest ones. Like sealed...best or even a good designed ported box.....

dont even waste your time man. get a plain old sealed box built to your subs specs and you cant go wrong.

Avoid bandpass!

I liked that add, minor damage I could not see the sub through the window.

What is the Jamaican dollar conversion anyway. It said $5000.

LOL! No ISH!
If you want to do bandpass do the kind where it's sealed behind the woofer and the port is in the front.

i got my box a few hours ago
2.5 inch ported for each sub....
it fills the whole trunk!, comes up to where the shelf used to be....
but im not sure if i should face the subs backward?
i have them facing up now, when i turn the box there is only about 2 inches between the sub and the back of the car...

and everything is now shaking!
the whole trunk, the windows, doors, plates,my neck, my back(im high ),the rrof, the mirrors, even the pistons!!!!!!

i dont know what im gonna do, i cant figure out how to stop it!
i cant peal and seal the whole body!

and my friggin amp is getting hot and sahutting off
im gonna put back in the jensen amp
its one of the high end ones(lol) and this blaupunkt i have is much quieter than the fosgate i just took out

frig it! i have 2 subs with unlimited amount of bass and no damn mids!
i only have 2 tweeters

sounds like crap, i need two 5.25's and 2 four inchers, for the dash and beside the seats, who am i gonna rob now, hmm....

OH ****!, ive been thinkin and typin again

Every type of box has it's niche. If you want the best quality sound though... get a sealed box matched to the manufacturer's volume spec for the sub.

I have that exact box and it sounds great with the setup I have. I can change the frequency response and make it hit harder or go deeper, however I do not reccomend getting this box.

I have had three seperate setups. My favorite of those setups was 2 10's in a sealed box with the appropriate amp. HTH.
