Default dead car..

ok... my car died..... i guess it was the battery... so.. i went and bought a new one.... then i put it in... everying worked... then i turn the key to start the car... then everything dies..... nothing works now.. so what did i do wrong.. how do i fix it.... is there a inline fuse that goes to the power cable to the battery.. my ecu fuse didn't blow... is there a fuse under the dash that could blow anc cause everything to shut off..... thanks

it does nothing... no sound or nothing.... no lights ... no beeping from the doors... no dome lights .. nothing is working at all..

hehe.. your from EC, wi eh.. i used to live in GB.. wella hey.. try your grounds.. sometimes when that happens, your negative ground might not be grounding correctly.. happened to me a few times.. check that out first.. the one that runs from the body to the negative side of the car.. bump for a hmong dude..

yeah its your grounds...but id check every fuse under your dash and in the engine bay, and if one is blown and you replace the fuse and it blows again then, its definetly a ground prob.

tru jump starting it. Betteries on the shelves have minimal life left in them so they don't ever "fully" drain themselves. I would try jumping it, and letting it run. If it runs when you jump it, you know it's the battetry. If not, then you have an open circuit somewhere- in which case you'd need to check all connections, fuses, etc
