So I will need to get my turbo a rebuilt.. probably going to cost me 300 bucks.. damn !!!

Just buy a new one from cheapturbo.com, it will be a little more but you'll have a new turbo.
or for rebuild try
texas rebuild.

 

mine is the greddy turbo... TD-04 H 15G

okay, i talked with a friend, and he said there are some turbo rebuilt shops locally

because we have so many big trunks that are turboed here... so.. what do you guys think?? do it locally??

Call Turbonetics, see if they have a rebuild kit for your turbo, around $80, pretty easy to do.

 

I sent my T3/T04B to cheapturbo.com to rebuild. They're pretty busy, so it took them about two weeks to finish it and shipt it back. I'm getting it back on tuesday.

and for 80 bucks, I don't know if that will fix my problem !!!

 

you can not rebuild and cange your own seals, I mean you cna, but you still need to rebalance the shafts, unless you have a 5000 RPM high speed balancer, I doubt you can get it acurate....

I'd say spend the 300 call majestic and be done with it... it has been proven. Last thing you wanna do is go cheap, spend 80 bucks and **** your turbo alltoghether

Well if you didn't send it yet, my boys uncle happens to be turbo john burris, he's pretty much known as a god in the turbo community, he's been doing rebuilds of turbo's, making turbo cars n bikes for damn near 30 years.... he runs a rebuild shop in delaware.....which is where i'm at, i could see what kind of price i could get you..... let me know

 

i rebuilt mine and it failed a little wile after the same problem it had before. i think the shaft was bent. so if you do it your self have the shaft checked out. that is my only mistake

I think I will just be safe better than sorry

i trust Stan and Arturbo and whoever did business with majesticturbo before

Definetly go with majestic turbo. I have also delt with Robert and he is a super cool person. I had the same turbo and it was $346.00 to have it rebuilt.
