now it's summer, it's too Hot..

It seemed that the AC in my 00 ITR is not really doing its job..
anyone have the same problem? I mean, I get into a Civic SI, turn the AC,
and it is a breeze..

Most of the time, I turned of the AC, but I don't want to look like a man who's been running 10K miles getting out of a Beautiful R, especially when I just took a shower and ready for a Brunch Date...

any quick DIY fiX?

 

you probably have no refridgerant in there anymore buddy.

call up john at baierl to set up an appointment, (724 935 8100 ext 3) or spitzer i guess, and have them get a UV dye kit (if they ran out of the dye they used in mine 2 years ago) and find the leak. should be a warranty issue.

This may sound stupid, but if you choose to recirculate within the car, the air isnt as cold...if you let outside air in, its a bit colder...

Yesterday, a friend of mine told me, they saw a new PY ITR with Black Spoon rims in Oakland and the Plate is 'First Cls' or something like that...

aleph's cruise is still sitting on his floor i believe... we did install the new steering cable reel, but still have a bunch of work to do under the dash. my cruise control is 100% installed and functional. was a pain in the *** though.

Only if it's colder outside the car than inside the car.

In normal conditions (hot days), once you've been using the A/C for a few minutes so that the inside of the car has cooled down, it will get colder and stay colder if you recirculate.

 

you may need a freon re-charge
