Honda Tranny ?
Hey guys..I know this has probobally been covered, but I couldnt find anything. Are there any stock SOHC transmissions that have a LSD??? How about any shorter gearing than the y8 tranny??? Thanks in advance!
the S20 from the VTI civic.. I believe offered in both japan and europe had a optinal LSD.. but the gearing is the same as a Ex tranny... plus the Final drive gear offered from SRR( http://www.exospeed.com/ ) do not fit the VTI tranny.. you may want to talk to eg6ajk
since he has had experience with the transmission personally.. you may want to just get a regular S20 ex tranny .. put in the SRR 4.7 FD and a quaife diff..but I know that would be pretty expensive for a sohc tranny

Yeah thats what I was thinking...do you think the Final Drive or the LSD would be more beneficial for mostly daily driving with some track time *maybe once a month or so*??
mista bone has a site about hybrid d16 transmissions. You can shorten the gearing using a mish mash of different d series tranny gears.
