The wing is off my car... And I'm wondering what to do with with the holes...
I'm wondering what u guys did??? The bodyshop is always a solution...
BTW, the wing is off because... the punks out there seems to like it a lot...
This is the 3rd wing I had to replace in 2 years with 2 differents ITR...
I need to move to Texas... Firing at a thief is legal there...

Seriously though. Have a body shop fill the holes. Get a qoute first. It may also be a thought to find a used hatch without the holes, but there may be two problems with that:
1. Expense of a used hatch
2. Different hatch may be heavier than the ITR.
If it is cheaper and lighter, go with a different hatch. Other than that, have the holes filled.

I would take it to a body shop and have them weld them shut.
As far as shooting a thief... if they're bigger, or more of them, and you feel your life is in danger, is it legal?

i'd get some round plastic plugs/caps/etc. that look good (they must not look super-ghetto!!), and get them painted the same color as car and use them to seal/cover the holes. that way if you wanted to put the spoiler back on (say if you were selling it) it would be no problem. much cheaper than getting a body shop to fill in the holes or looking for a new hatch. and if you do a good job, it'll kinda look like those bumper plugs for tow hooks that we see on the S2K and varioud BMWs. i'm sure if you did some searching in auto-parts catalogs/stores you could find something that would look nice and stock.

mihn has the right idea. That's what I did. I used a little bit of silicone as to not get any moisture in there. I bought a bottle of touch up paint from Acura and you can't even tell. Plus yo never know when you wanna put the wing back on.
The right way to get rid of the holes permanentely is to have a body shop weld the holes, and paint the whole hatch. Problems with that are as follows:
1: Expensive
2: color never matches
3: If they do shitty work, it will stand out..

holes are still there, I'm gonna take it to a shop soon, charge will be $275
BTW, water does NOT get into the hatch if you don't fill them

can anyone tell me the diameter of the holes?
autoparts store has various generic plugs avaliable...should be able to find one that fits.
