Few questions About my D16Z6 Swap in 1991 crx si
I have a few questions...
I put a Z6 in my 91 crx si.
Im using an Apexi V-AFC to controll v-tec and fuel. Using the PM6 Ecu and si wiring.
I am using the obd0 distributor drilled on ghetto style.
I am also using the Z6 Intake manifold.
I am getting a Cel Code 1 blink which is Oxygen Content. Is this because im using the Z6 Intake manifold and not all sensors are connected?
Can i use it like this?
Also.. Can i use the Z6 Distributor? i purchased a harness that allowed the Z6 Distributor to clip on to the obd0 harness.
Will it cause a problem because i am still using a Pm6 ecu?

To simplify matters....if you have the OBD1 z6 distributor you can de-pin the obd1 plug and plug the pins back into a OBD0 distributor's plug. It's a much cleaner way to do things. Gets rid of those gaudy washers on the distribhutor mounting flange.

Oh yeah....and then theres that pesky thing about going to OBD1 with a p28 and adapter harness....almost forgot about that.

I'm interested in why Z6 swappers usually get the 'Code 1' all of the time? Do you happen to have an aftermarket header? 421 style, where the O2 sensor is much further away from the exhaust ports than stock?
I was getting a Code 1 error when I used a PG7 ECU, but now that I'm running a '90 PM6 & a hotter thermostat, it seems to have gone away...

naa im running a ******* D15B2 exhaust manifold LOL!!! its not an si exhaust manifold when i bought my crx it came with a silly d15b2 engine. =p
the Z6 manifold will not give u a code 1 for oxygen.. maybe ur O2 its fried.... get a universal O2 from BOSH.... it slike 35 bucks.... then see fi ti fixes it
