Default Best ECU for OBD1 conversion

what is recommended?

I was given two choices a P28 with no knock sensor and the P30 with the knock sensor. I would say it is better to have the knock sensor, but I know nothing about this topic.
I do know there are other ECUs out there but not sure which ones are compatible with the R.

Thanks

I believe the P72 also has a knock sensor. I'll be switching to obd1, and frankly I'm not too concerned about not having a knock sensor as long as I tune conservatively.

you don't need the knock sensor imo.

Thanks for the replies.
I sent Kenji an e-mail, let's see what he has and what he recommends. I plan on doing some more upgrades later that will need tunning. I figure it migh be safer with the knock sensor there, but like i said I know nothing on this subject.
