Default Gauge POD install Q (really quick) help me out!!!!

ok well most of u in here had a gauge pod as i do. dual pod.....

anyways has anyone used different types of screws other then the plastic ones they give you? if so what? and pictures would also help a lot.....

i used black hex screws but they were to long, and i don't know how about going and making them smaller....

since the a-pillar plastic is so close to the sheet metal of the car there is really no way to make a long screw work, you can get those small stubby *** screws from like ace hardware or home depot, those should work for ya, if not just use the plastic crap they gave with the pod

3M double sided stickey tape?
then bondo so it looks clean and flush....then paint it
as long as you aren't beating it with a bat it should break off

Just goto the hardware store and pick up some really short screws. That will make it look nice and strong. You can also use double sided tape but I would be affraid that they would come apart.
